As Built Drawings





What is an
As Built Drawings ?

The phrase "as-built" in construction is equivalent to "if". Drawings deemed "As Built Drawings" is drawing that shows the existing conditions as they are, or "as is" - this is the current conditions compared to existing
designs or proposed conditions, which are more common for the content of the drawings.
As Built Drawings  can be documented either after or during construction. When, in construction, a qualified

technician collects accurate data to reconstruct drawings. When during construction, design drawings redmarked for processing.
